1. Basic Structure

CLAUSE+うちに	action
あかるいうちに	うちにかえろう

2. Implication:

"take an action while still ~ (before it is too late)"

A: もうすぐ、こうくうりょうきん(=airfare)が高くなりますよ。

B: じゃあ、高くならないうちに、こうくうけん(=air ticket)を買っておきましょう。

It is also possible to use an affirmative form to say:

B: じゃあ、安いうちに、こうくうけん(=air ticket)を...

3. More examples:

雨がふらないうちに、買い物をしてきましょう。
